6/2022, The Lab's first paper is accepted for publication in Physical Review Letters.
Congratulations Bin for bringing this project to completion!
5/2022, The lab receives two Innovative Research Grant awards from the Kavli Institute for Brain and Mind.
- One project, in collaboration with Chih-Ying Su, will investigate how size and shape of sensory dendrites influences chemosensory function
- A second project, in collaboration with Dimitri Deheyn, will investigate balance between centralized and peripheral information processing in cephalopods.
We thank the Kavli Institute for its support and are excited to work on these projects.

The grant supports work with Nachum Ulanovsky and Liora Las (Weizmann) on learning optimal spatial representations in bats.
7/2021, Yonatan wins DARPA Young Faculty Award.
The award supports work with Chih-Ying Su (UCSD) on functional implications of non-synaptic coupling of olfactory receptor neurons in flies.
